With this trip we have combined our passion for Tuscany and the opportunity to share our local knowledge for an unforgettable experience.
As lifelong residents of Tuscany we have created an itinerary that allows you to sample the villages, events and people as a "local". The natural beauty of the Spas of Tuscany are waiting to be discovered and shared as we move from village to village.
We will begin our journey at the spectacular Grotta Giusti, the largest thermal cave in Europe, recently awarded “World’s Best Thermal Grotto Spa” at the prestigious World Spa Awards 2017. We will passing through Grand Duke’s thermal residence on a hill where hot water flows from a natural spring in Bagni di Pisa, ending at the artistic jewel in a Renaissance Palace on a thermal spring in San Casciano dei Bagni.
All contained within the beautiful landscape of the Tuscan Hills and the Val d'Orcia which since 2004 has been named in the UNESCO Italian Heritage Sites.

Day 1: Benvenuto in Toscana

20th September

We will meet at the Florence airport from where you will have a transfer to ours
Natural Spa Resort Grotta Giusti. Inside you will find an unexpected treasure, a unique and wonderful cave, which in 2017 was recognized as the best natural thermal cave in the world. It’s a spectacular underground, salt water thermal spa with a naturally regulated temperature.

Here you can also dive and relax in the warm thermal waters of the
pool. It’s a large body of water, 750 square meters in total, where the
bicarbonate-sulphate-calcium-magnesium water will refresh you
thanks to a temperature of 34°C and it has 40 hydro-massage stations. After your bike fitting, a look over our maps and a chat about your safety on the road we will head off for our first ride, to Vinci, in the
 Tuscan countryside.

Once in Vinci, we will stop for a nice coffee or
Cappuccino. In the village you will have the opportunity to visit the birth house of Leonardo and after a nice gentle
climb of about 2 km between the olive groves, we will also visit the museum. Lunch will be in a typical restaurant of the Chianti Hills of Montalbano.

We will return to the hotel with about 50 km and 550 meters in altitude. There is also the option for an extra
ride of 30 km but being your first day it might be better to take it easy. On the way back, we will have our first taste of Italian bubbles, then the

about Tuscany and what you can look forward to in the coming days. Afterwards we will have our welcome dinner by the pool.

Monte Serra followed by a welcome vertical drop of about 550 meters.
The climb is a daily destination for local cyclists but also for
Italian professionals. No worries, however, you will be supported by your guides along the entire ascent and the van support will always be with us.

They have a recognized organic farm where food and wine are produced in full respect for nature. We will taste local wines, with strong territorial expression, the rosé barricato is sublime.

Highlight of the day will be a visit to the magnificent walled city of Lucca. Famous for his
historical monuments, the historical centre is unique in preserving various structures, ancient epochs and above all for the intact sixteenth-century walls. It is one
of the most remarkable art cities of Italy. Lucca is traditionally named as the
"city of a hundred churches" for the large number of churches dating back to various eras scattered within the historical centre. This name
is quite accurate if we consider that, in addition to the many official churches, each Palace in the city has its own private chapel.
These days, many
Religious buildings are deconsecrated, but they still remain great places
of interest.

The Walls of Lucca, which run for over 4 kilometres, represent a symbol of the city recognized worldwide both for its artistic and monumental beauty and also for its historical value. The construction of the walls of Lucca dates back to the Renaissance period from the first half of the sixteenth century to the middle of the seventeenth century and has been preserved intact through to today. We will have lunch in the historic centre with typical Lucchese dishes such as the Lucchese soup.

natural warmth the spectacular panoramic swimming pools, the treatment tanks
and relaxation areas.
It is said that the Grand Duke Ferdinando I De' Medici described this palace as the enchantment of the Val d'Orcia area, among
